About the Show

Follow the highs and lows of the fictitious Willoughby and Naremburn Choral Society (Wancs) struggling to survive after their disastrous attempt at experimental theatre - "Apocalypse - The Musical"!

Featuring characters we all know and love Is That A Knife in Your Back features six snippets of amateur theatre - The Audition, The Committee, The Rehearsals, The Crew, The Chorus Boys and the Pub as seen through the eyes of 2 usherettes.

There are 26 musical numbers in the show with a mix of solos, duets, small groups and ensemble(harmony). The style is varied and electic from songs attributed to artists Bernadette Peters, Billy Joel, Janis Ian, composers Rogers &Hammerstein, Jason Robert Brown, Kander & Ebb, Lerner & Lowe, Fats Waller and Broadway shows Curtains, Avenue Q, Rent and many more.

Production Dates: Saturday Mar 6th  & 7th 2009  Matinee & Evening
